Korda Straight Point Hooks Barbed We took our most popular Wide Gape hook and made a few design tweaks. The result is our ultra sharp and strong Straight Point hook. By elongating the shank we’ve made the Straight Point slightly longer than the Wide Gape and we’ve in turned the eye by 15 degrees. The biggest design feature, however, is the tapered, eye-wateringly sharp, straight point. The end result is creating one of the most versatile and efficient hooks we’ve ever made.
